  • Deli section - The Slowest Service Evr

I am originally from the "Old continent". We are used to get fresh sliced meat. The services in the Southern states in any grocery store are pretty bad. I thought it could not get worse. It can. Just go to Bi-Lo (my is in Bluffton, SC). The deli personnel is unwilling to help, so after waiting about 15 minutes in front of the deli display finally someone notices a customer (this is on slow day, and most of the employees don't do much). Then comes the service. It happened to me several times that the employee did not know basic meats. After 5 minute search for the meat, comes... More...

  • Bakery Dept.

I was getting excellent help from the Deli manager in Surfside Beach SC, who then referred me to the Bakery Lady, who could handle my questions for ordering desserts for an event. This woman had a rough time answering ANY questions, and seemed not to be able to talk at all about the Bakery Dept. When I asked her for brownies or cookies,, she took us to boxes of the same, with no prices. No list or mention of a list until I pushed by asking her about the pricing for trays of desserts. She stopped all conversation by saying, "well I don't just have the prices here, and it's... More...

  • Terrible company to work for and even shop with

I am NOT a former employee nor would I EVER work there. The way they treat their employees is TERRIBLE... I have a few family members that have worked for Winn-Dixie or other grocery store companies before BI-LO bought them out, for MANY of years. The stress they come home with, the continuous responsibility they are FORCED to do because they are title "sam" or "front of the house" manager and the ENDLESS HOURS THEY WORK 16 a day. The threats they get from corporate if they aren't doing something right and if there is 1 mistake they did they get FIRED without even... More...

  • bad customer service

I was shopping in you #606 store today (1/9/13) on hwy 58 and as I got in line I noticed there was only two lanes open which were both backed up. A gentleman got in line as a cashier walked by and said to the gentleman "come on baby I'll take you down here" She then proceded to lock the chain so no one else could get in line. I ask another cashier her name and she said it was Cherise. You know this was not right. She could have helped get the lines down for the two other cashiers. It's possible I will not be back in that store as ther is another one close to me. I cannot... More...

They are getting alot of money from people that are signing up and not keeping up with what they earn. The points are going in pockets. More...

  • Pathetic Customer Service

I stopped by Bilo #267 on West Main Street in Laurens, South Carolina to pick up a bag of dog food. When I approached the check out counter a mexican family had just finished checking out. As they left the store the young, brown-haired female cashier turned to the cashier at the counter next to her, and both employees proceeded to make very cruel, obnoxious comments about the mexican family and the fact that they paid for their groceries with food stamps. I was so disgusted with them that I put the bag of dog food back, and purchased dog food at a convenience store. I think one of the... More...
